Celebrate National Honey Month and Lithopolis Honeyfest Day in Ohio in a robust atmosphere of great art, live music, food (and honey-made food), fun and people! Bee beards, honey and honey tasting, Honey Bake-Off, mead and wine garden and more at Ohio's only honey festival.
The Lithopolis Honeyfest is a non-profit event with a mission to educate the public about the art and science of apiculture and to raise awareness of the importance of the honey bee. With the involvement of honey and bee keeping trade associations, we see this event as a component in preserving apiculture, not just in Ohio, but nationwide and globally.
Simply Christmas in Lithopolis (held annually 1st Saturday in December) :
Begin your holiday with our many customer specials and unique gift offerings at the shops along Columbus Street. Enjoy the beautifully decorated village amidst the charming bustle of Christmas kept simple. Some of the fun includes: Strolling carolers throughout the day, pet parade and pet pictures with Santa 2-3 pm, Hot cocoa and marshmallows, Santa's Mailbox, Wagnalls Christmas Open House from 10-2, Kiwana's Spaghetti Supper from 11-6, Children's crafts and face painting, Santa's Workshop and pictures with Santa (printed free with food donation or new toy) and a tree lighting in the park later in the day.
Lithopolis Honey Festival (held annually 1st or 2nd weekend in September) :

Usually the first or second weeks in April & October, Lithopolis has a three-day "Shop Hop" on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
There are store specials offered and refreshments are served. Shoppers are selected to win door prizes. The entry forms are obtained at any of the participating businesses. Shoppers get their forms stamped at participating businesses. Each business gives away a prize. No purchase necessary.
